Lachrymose


Pronounced:
<Lack-ra-mowse>
Given to crying easy.  Easily brought to tears.

My use:
I was feeling lachrymose until you gave me those beautiful flowers.  Thank you very much!

Literary use:
Lacrimosa is a movement of Mozart's Requiem in D Minor, known as the last piece of music he ever wrote.
